Hi,

I am new here.

I want to use Lodestar with a mobile phone and a local CORS network (DGPS),
to improve the accuracy of GPS on the mobile phone for apps. So I want to connect the Lodestar to the phone and any App should work with the DGPS datas instead of the A-GPS.

My service provider told me that I need NTRIP version 1 or NTRIP version 2 and RTCM 2.1 or RTCM 3.0.

As I read in the FAQs: RTCMv3 output is supported and RTCMv3 is intended to support. For NTRIP I would need a client.

Could this work with Lefebure NTRIP Client?

or is there any other idea how to manage this? I've only find a client for android is there also any solution for iphone
or have someone experience with this issue?

greetings from Austria (Europe)

Hi Günter,

You are correct, Lodestar will connect to an iPhone over Bluetooth and override the internal GPS, providing DGPS positions solutions to the apps instead.

Lodestar will require an NTRIP client to forward the RTCM 3.0 messages from the NTRIP server. As you mention there are freely available NTRIP clients for PC and Android but I am not currently aware of one for iOS, however we will be developing our own NTRIP client for iOS built into the Lodestar app. Lodestar supported applications in the future may also have this functionality built in.

Thanks,
Fergus
