Customize RTCM msg output rates?

I'd like to slow down the RTCM msg outputs from my Piksi Multi base station. If I change "output every n obs" then it only slows down the constellation msgs such as 1074/1084/1094 but the base station info msgs 1006/1008/1033 still go out at 1 hz. That's the opposite of useful as msgs 1006/1008/1033 don't change so could be output much less often whereas the constellation msgs are actually changing.
