Launching from Magnuson

Hi all SWIFTies,

Launching from Magnuson continues to be a limited affair, subject to change without notice. I thought I should share that SPOCC has asked its members to respect signage in regards to parking, and we should do the same. I don't know if they were being pro-active, or if they have received complaints or notifications, but we do need to be respectful so as not to lose the access we have. If the road blocks remain in place at the entrance to our launch site, the best parking would seem to be along the building and then walk your boat over to the rubber mats.

Sorry to be brow-beating with the rules, but we've been very fortunate to still have some access to the water - let's keep it going.

We have been paddling out of Sandpoint. We are also parking back and carrying boats to launch. It is so nice just to be able to get on the water. I would hate to be doing anything that would endanger that access.
