After the intense work on the SWHID publicly available specification, that is now well stabilised in its version 1.1, we are preparing for the ISO process, under the umbrella of the JDF Foundation of the Linux Foundation.
As a first step, we need to create a dedicated SWHID project in the JDF, that will be the steward of the future standard, and this is a call for interest for organisations that may want to join it.
We expect the organisation of the people that actively contributed until here to consider joining, but there may be a larger interest, and doors are quite open to organisations that consider getting more involved in the future.
If you think your organisation may be interested in joining us in this formal step, please let me know, and we'll put you in touch with the right person at the JDF
All the best
