to South Waterfront Walks There
We deserve this sunny weekend!

Did anyone walk today at 10:00? To tell you the truth, the Saturday
10:00 am is not the most ideal time for me, but that's ok. This group
is not necessarily about getting everyone to walk at the same time,
but a place to share thoughts and encouragement about walking, to
connect with our neighbors and hopefully find times to go for walks
together when we can, etc.

Though I love walking with a friend, there is also something to be
said for walking alone, am I right? I've been going on 3 early
morning walks before work (starting between 6:30 and 7:00 am) per week
for the past month and find that it's an amazing time to clear my
head, be present, and often feel grateful about being alive.

The river level is so high, the Willamette Greenway is rather flooded
in spots. There are a couple of flooded areas that are virtually
impassable at the moment. Does anyone have any thoughts on getting
around this? Yesterday I walked up through the condo parking lots and
along the trolley track (which I suppose really shouldn't be
encouraged since it's posted private property...) but although that
helped me evade the first flood location, I came back down to a second
that I could not get around. Makes it a bit of an adventure!
