South Waterfront Walks There: December Weekday

Pioneer Square to see the Christmas Tree, perhaps indulge in a hot beverage
from Starbucks, and take in some live holiday music performed by the Sellwood
Middle School Marimba Band! From there, participants may want to get some
holiday shopping done, walk up to 11th Avenue to ride the Streetcar home, or
get extra credit for walking back to the South Waterfront. All walkers
will receive a complimentary reusable SWCR shopping bag.
The walk from South Waterfront to Pioneer Square is approximately 2.1 miles
one-way and is entirely flat. Please wear sturdy shoes, dress in layers,
and bring drinking water.
