swf upload uploading a snapshot picture of a video

We are implementing a video app.
When we tag a comment into this video we have a snapshot pic that
generates an encoded data string representing a small snapshot of the
video.
This means that this video is not actually a file. Instead, its a text
encoded data string stored as a javascript variable.
My question is, is there I can trick swfupload that this data is a
file so it can treat the data as file content?

I need swfupload because I want to upload these snapshots into amazon.

Anybody has any ideas/hints?
