you need to switch to using swfobject, currently your using run active

1) <script src="Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
change the src attrib to Scripts/swfobject.js (assuming the correctly named file is already in the Scripts dir)

remove
<script type="text/javascript">

AC_FL_RunContent(

down to the </object></noscript>

2) place the code for either static or dynamic use of swfobject within script tags in the head of the html doc (right before the </head> is ideal)

dynamic content (including the semi colon & place with a script tag):
swfobject.embedSWF(...);

if you using static object  this would be the code (if the object has an id of nav)
        <script type="text/javascript">
            swfobject.registerObject("nav", "9.0.0");
        </script>

3) place either the full static markup or a div within the body of you content
the target div for use with dyanmic swfobject: <div id="nav">my alt navigation</div>

or if its static swfobject then the full object within an object & the two ie conditionals (with alt content in between)

Hello All,

I'll begin by saying I consider myself just slight above the novice level of web designing, but not by much.  I'm an architect my trade and am working on my firm's website: jonesstudioinc.com.  It's a Flash based website, and thus doesn't work on any of our techy gadgets (iPads), and I'm working on developing a HTML bases site but in the meantime would like to use swfobject to add alternative content in place of the flash.  I've read through the 2008 Adobe tutorials and had no problem working with the examples provided, however when I tried to make it work on our website I didn't have any luck.

My main problem is that I'm not sure where to add the swfoject code into the page itself.  See below for a typical page, this one is my index 'test' page:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

Thanks for your help!
