also it seems uploadify is 3.1 current and perhaps your using 2.14
so this might be fixed

I have a main page which posts some information to a popup that is opened using window.open.

The poup uses uploadify (which uses swfobject) to select and upload a file.

In Chrome everything works fine, but in IE the object fails to load in the popup. Opening the popup page as a standalone page in IE (by entering address in url) works without a problem, it fails to load only when the page is called using window.open.

The scripts in the popup are loaded as follows:
