Is it possible to adjust the z-index?

I'm trying to get a drop-down navigation to appear over a billboard
(using swffit).
http://newmarket.microartsdev.com/

Z-index doesn't seem to have any effect on either elements:(

you have to change wmode to opaque or transparent. check swfobject documentation to learn how to do that. cheers.
