I have purchased a SWEA license and my understanding from the EULA is
that I can distribute the SWEA Redistributable dll's with my software
to my customer. i.e.
"e) Redistributable Files. Provided you comply with sections 2.f and
2.g, Webius grants you a nonexclusive, royalty-free right to reproduce
and distribute the object code version of the following portions of
the SOFTWARE (collectively, "REDISTRIBUTABLES"): (i) SAMPLE CODE
(including any modifications you make); and (ii) the Webius*.dll files
included in the SOFTWARE."
>From the help file I am assuming the REDISTRIBUTABLES are :
SWExplorerAutomation.dll and SWExplorerAutomationClient.dll.
I'm having a problem...on my customers machine he is getting the 30
day reminder message running my software which references these dlls.
Am I correct in my assumption that I do not need to distribute the
license file?
What are the recommended steps for distributing my software with the
SWEA redistributables in order for my customer not to get the reminder
notice?
Note: The customer machine has a trial version of SWEA installed as I
did this in the early stages of development for testing purposes. Is
this installation upsetting things?
Thanks
Gavin
You should also distribute SWExplorerAutomation.dll.lic file.

Thanks for the response.
Just putting in the lic file didn't solve my problem for me but I seem
to have got to the bottom of it.
As mentioned in my earlier post the client machine had an installation
of SWEA; i had to uninstall that and then register the
SWExplorerAutomation.dll using "regsvr32 SWExplorerAutomation.dll" in
the target application folder. As you mention the lic file is needed
in the target app folder.
Thanks for your continued support
Thanks

You are right, the license file should be placed in the folder where
SWExplorerAutomation.dll have been deployed and registered.
