I have come to know that all the members of the puja committee had a get together with their families , where the sub committee members were not invited.
Do you think the sub committee members are anywhare inferior to the other committee members and not eligible for these type of get-togethers.
I think we as sub committee members also devoted time and gave our best to make the puja successful.
Lastly one thing I would like to say that I take it as an insult to the sub committee members and whosoever behind this decision had shown their immaturity and meanness.

Dear All,As we all aware that ETV news Bangla is going to cover a promotional show, live on Saturday the 10th Oct at10am, we are expected to remain prepared before Friday night. I am sure we shall be able to put together a performance for the channel worth watching. Hope we shall be supporting this good cause generously. We, the Sherwoodees, can add an extra edge to our Durga puja in presence of media; here are some requirements to follow:
§ The front side of puja pandal needs to be clean and colourful considering the media coverage will continue at the front space.
§ We may also need to clean our central garden and banquet hall, so that channel can use those areas if they want to do so.
§ Electricity connection and a good quality sound system should be arranged for the performance.
§ All participants and members are expected to reach the premises (in front of the garden or clubhouse) on Saturday before 9am.
I hope we realise the importance of these requirements. So for this I also call for a meeting tonight 9pm at the Clubhouse. So that if any concern regarding the arrangement comes across we can address them on time. Let us all commit and prepare for a good show.
