Youcan connect an iPhone to an Interlogix Simon XTi or XTi-5 using the Alarm.com Mobile App. You can obtain this app for free from the App store. The Simon XTi or XTi-5 will need to be set up with Alarm.com for this to be possible. This requires that the panel has active cellular service.

The Alarm.com interactive service provides a secondary access point for users to control their alarm system. By accessing Alarm.com, a user can arm and disarm their system, check the current status of sensors, control Z-Wave devices, view the live footage of their compatible security cameras and more. And with the Alarm.com Mobile App, these actions can all be performed remotely using an Android or iOS device.

1. Obtain cellular monitoring. Alarm.com requires any alarm system used with their service to receive active cellular monitoring. This is the only communication path that can be used with Alarm.com. In addition to providing access to Alarm.com, cellular service offers other benefits for alarm systems as well. Modern cellular service is remarkably fast, and it is much more reliable than any other communication path. This makes upgrading to cellular monitoring a worthwhile investment for any Simon XTi or XTi-5 user. To get started with cellular monitoring, you will need to obtain an alarm monitoring plan that provides cellular connectivity. You will also need to install a compatible cellular communication module inside your Simon XTi or XTi-5 System.

2. Make an Alarm.com account. Once cellular communicator has been activated by your alarm monitoring company, they should send you the resources necessary to get started with Alarm.com. This is usually provided in the form of an email with instructions on how to log in and set up an Alarm.com account. After setting up your Alarm.com account, your Simon XTi or XTi-5 System will be associated with Alarm.com.

3. Download the mobile app. In order to use your iPhone to control your Simon XTi or XTi-5 System, you will need the Alarm.com Mobile App. This app is available for free download from the Apple App Store. Open up the App Store, and download the Alarm.com Mobile App.

4. Access Alarm.com. Using the Alarm.com Mobile App, enter in your Alarm.com login credentials to access the Alarm.com platform. You will then be able to control your Simon XTi or XTi-5 System directly from your iPhone.

Yes, you can connect an Android Phone to an Interlogix Simon XT. This is possible using the Alarm.com Mobile App. The Alarm.com Mobile App can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store. You will need to have an active Alarm.com account in order to access the Alarm.com server.

Alarm.com is an interactive service platform that allows a user to control their Simon XT System in some useful ways. By accessing Alarm.com. a user can arm and disarm their system, check the status of sensors and operate any programmed Z-Wave devices. With the Alarm.com Mobile App, all of these actions can be performed remotely. The Alarm.com Mobile App is available for free download on any Android or iOS device. Once you have opened the app, you can login to the service using your Alarm.com account credentials.

However, a Simon XT System will require a very important upgrade before it can be be used with Alarm.com. This upgrade consists of installing a cellular communicator inside the panel. To use Alarm.com, active cellular communication is required for the alarm system. Without a cellular communicator, a Simon XT System will only be able to communicate using POTS (plain old telephone service) connectivity. This will make accessing Alarm.com an impossible task for the system.

In addition to a cellular communicator, a user will also need an alarm monitoring plan that includes both cellular service and access to Alarm.com. We recommend checking out our Alarm Monitoring Page for more information. If you are looking for a cellular communicator for your Simon XT System, we advise going with either the AT&T LTE Communicator or the Verizon LTE Communicator. LTE cellular networks offer the fastest possible speeds, and these networks are expected to remain in active service for many years. Remember, the choice between AT&T and Verizon has nothing to do with your regular cellular service. The fee for cellular monitoring is built into the monitoring plan. We advise users to choose whichever service works best in their area.

To get access to your United Interlogix truVision IP Camera, you need the IP of your device, the username and password. You'll find such information in the Manual of your United Interlogix truVision IP Camera router. But if you do not have the manual for your router or you do not want to read the whole manual to find the default login information then you can use the quick guide below. To get to the router login page it's necessary that you are connected to the router.

Try different ID/password combinations that are widely used by United that you'll find below. In this list are the most popular default username and password combinations used by United. Sometimes the username and password doesn't work that we mentioned in the top of this guide. Then you can try these username/password combinations below to get access to your United Interlogix truVision IP Camera wireless router.

All you need to do is to reset your Interlogix truVision IP Camera modem. This can be done easily by clicking on the reset button at the back or at the bottom of your router. If you hold down this small button for approximately 20 seconds, (you may have to use a toothpick), then your modem will get restored to the factory settings. What you need to keep in mind is that when you reset your modem, you will lose your connection online. It is therefore better to take an expert's assistance in this regard. Note: If you have not enough information, it is obviously recommended that you should get help from a person who has all the knowledge about this topic.

Note: You can only be logged into the ComNav/ZeroWire hub with the same user once; a subsequent login with the same user logs out the other. Since this tool/software actively polls and maintains a login session to your Hub, it can prevent you from being able to log into at the same time elsewhere (via it's website). It is strongly recommended that you create a second user account on your Hub dedicated to just this service.

You can generate a snapshot (in JSON format) that greatly details everything taking place through your security home setup. It provides MUCH greater detail than the --watch which allows it to also be integrated with Home Assistant.

You can also (optionally) set the following global variables to provide the equivalent of what the configuration file could have. If a configuration file is also loaded, it's settings will always prevail. If an entry is missing, then the environment variable is used instead (if it's defined):

This software was created by reverse engineering my own personal security system. All of this code was generated through trial and error since there is no documentation that I could find that explains the registers. If you can help out by filling in some of the blanks throughout the code base, I would be greatly appreciative of it! Alternatively buying me a coffee greatly inspires me to continue improving the application.

When we got the device, this worked fine. We were able to launch the browser, login using the admin password, and were redirected to the wrcontrollite.ssi webpage; where we would connect to the camera's and stream live.

But then one of the hard drives broke (80gb IDE drive) which was replaced with a new one (160gb IDE drive), and since setting everything back up we can ping & access the recorder, but are unable to watch the live video stream. The wrcontrollite.ssi webpage can not be found on the server.

After you change the hard drive and besides the firmware recognizing and formatting this hard drive, the system also requires for you to run a utility that actually picks up very small slice on this same hard drive and installs content, that you will need to connect to this same DVR and/or run remote control... stream video, etc... I do not recall what is was called and you may even have this link in this forum (I remember that I put a link many years ago about this same topic) that will allow you to download and install this utility... hope that link is still live...

Using this tool I was able to upload the WaveBrowser from Windows to the DVR over ethernet. Now the wavebrowser is showing up on the DVR website & functioning as it did before the hard drive crashed. Great!
