Youcan also open the system board cover, locate the security jumper and change its location to trigger a reset of all security settings. It will be a 2 pin jumper connector on 3 pins, if you change its position to the other side it triggers the reset. You do not need to change it back as this would just trigger another reset. All lexmark units have this feature.
