Hello to you all, I'm not sure who all gets this email.
I love my new furbaby but never had to housebreak one before. What a job. It seems like all I do is take him outside. Sometimes he goes and other times he waits until he comes back in. I must be doing something wrong. I am going to the library to get a book on training puppies. Should have done this before I got the puppy. My poor rug is going to need major cleaning.
Dee I wouldn't mind joining you. It is going to feel like vacation or are you taking the family with you?
Linda I wouldn't mind going with you too. I hope you have as much fun as you did last time.
Next week I am going to have my friends 2 huge dogs staying with me. My house is going to be like a zoo. Plus I have to go to her house everyday to feed her 2 cats; 1 rabbit and clean up after them. Add that to one puppy not housebroken yet-I am going to need a vacation after next week.
Hey Lynn and Jo, what's happening in your world?

Subject: Hi everyone!!

I am going to be gone, next week- going to my DD's house/cat sit,
while the newlyweds are in New York.
Don't know what I will do for five days, but sit and stitch, watch TV,
read, feed cats (they just got a new baby, so they now have three).
I won't have a car, while I am there, and I would be too scared to
drive in The Big City, anyway.
But at least I will be able to use the internet, so I won't miss too
much.

I am ALMOST finished with my TWINS design! Probably could have
finished it tonight, but I got a craving for ice cream, and decided to
get on the PC, while licking my cream cone.

Today I went outside and repotted five rose bushes! That was a job!
I changed them from gallon pots, to great big tubs. They will be much
happier, now.
AND, I discovered that my Hydrangea bush, which I thought didn't
survive the winter, LIVES!
I had dumped it out of it's pot, and was getting ready to toss it,
when I saw that it had fresh growth coming up from the roots. I am so
glad!
I love Hydrangeas!
I have had several bushes, but they never do anything- just grow up
about 12-15 inches, leaf out, and NEVER get blooms. *sigh*
I guess some plants just don't like my cold, wet soil.

Good morning, Sandy!
This goes to only those of us that are members here, AND that are
signed on to get the emails when a new post is made.

Training a new puppy takes time- their tiny little bladder can't hold
much.
My rule has been that if the puppy wakes up from a nap, eats, drinks,
plays, or otherwise gets excited, TAKE HIM OUTSIDE to potty. And
then, you are still going to have some puddles on the floor.
Unfortunately, thats the way young puppies are. It can be frustrating
for a while, I know.
But he will mature eventually. Then you can get your carpet cleaned,
and really enjoy the little fellow!
I LOVE puppies!
:^)
