I am going to be gone, next week- going to my DD's house/cat sit,
while the newlyweds are in New York.
Don't know what I will do for five days, but sit and stitch, watch TV,
read, feed cats (they just got a new baby, so they now have three).
I won't have a car, while I am there, and I would be too scared to
drive in The Big City, anyway.
But at least I will be able to use the internet, so I won't miss too
much.
I am ALMOST finished with my TWINS design! Probably could have
finished it tonight, but I got a craving for ice cream, and decided to
get on the PC, while licking my cream cone.
Today I went outside and repotted five rose bushes! That was a job!
I changed them from gallon pots, to great big tubs. They will be much
happier, now.
AND, I discovered that my Hydrangea bush, which I thought didn't
survive the winter, LIVES!
I had dumped it out of it's pot, and was getting ready to toss it,
when I saw that it had fresh growth coming up from the roots. I am so
glad!
I love Hydrangeas!
I have had several bushes, but they never do anything- just grow up
about 12-15 inches, leaf out, and NEVER get blooms. *sigh*
I guess some plants just don't like my cold, wet soil.

Hi Dee!
Have fun in the big city.
Still haven't stitched. Maybe tomorrow after we run errands.
Am getting ready to head out to a Bible study. Then a friend is
coming to do my hair early this afternoon.
Other than that it is a wet, soggy day here in central Ohio. Leo
wants out so bad but he isn't going.
Still getting things together for the OGTG. One month away and I
can't wait.

Over cast at the moment, here, Linda- but it is
supposed to get hotter than yesterday.
We are having a nice warm spell, which is always a blessing to us web footed Oregonians.
I have been working on a new little Halloween design- a Biscornu. Going to be simple, and cute.
It will be a freebie for the OR/WA GTG, next month, I think.
Now I just have to find some orange and some black aida, so I can get started stitching the model.
Might have to dye my own, as usual.
