So the clocks have fallen back. Immediately it feels as if we may as
well be in the Arctic Circle for the amount of daylight we're being
granted. Time to really focus on pace and effort judgement: a optical
trick makes it feels as if one is running faster at any given pace in
the dark, so make sure you're not actually taking it too easy.

I'm away this week: unfortunately I haven't jetted off to join Mo
Farah for a few months of training in Kenya, it's just a short break
from work to collect my faculties and shave my face!

Tomorrow is due to be cloudy but still mild and dry. Great running
weather. I suggest you make the most of it with a run of decent
length. Enjoy the time on your feet - there will no doubt be weeks
ahead where running hard will be a necessary survival strategy!
