At our last meeting we held officer elections and announced some upcoming events. At the end of this email you will also find an internship opportunity with Johnson Controls!

SWE Transition Dinner - All SWE members collegiate and professional are invited!
When: Tuesday, April 27th, 6 pm
Where: Water Street Brewery, 1101 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202 US
Ladish Company Tour – Hosted by ASME
When: Friday, April 30th, 9:30am-noon
Where: Ladish Co., Inc. Corporate Offices 5481 S. Packard Avenue, Cudahy, WI 53110.
Details: We'll be meeting in the 1st floor by the I^3 at 9:15, leaving at 9:30 on the dot. The tour begins at 10am. If you'd like, you can meet us at their Cudahy location by 10am. There should be enough cars to bring everyone who's interested in going, but again, if you think you'll be in attendance or have any questions, contact Andrew Hastert at ahas...@uwm.edu or Justin Wood an email at jtw...@uwm.edu.
Harley Davidson Museum Tour – Hosted by SWE Section at Marquette
When: Thursday May 6th from 6-8pm
Where: Harley Museum, 500 West Canal Street, Milwaukee, WI 53203

Job Opportunities:
Johnson Controls Internship- The role is a Software Engineering Internship. Freshman or Sophomore students are desired. The position will be a summer internship and then roll into the school year part time. This is a paid Internship.
