Hi all,

I've recently acquired something on eBay that will spawn a couple topics, and this is the first.

Ishar 3 was released in 1994, and there was a promotional leaflet included, allowing the purchaser to buy an "Elite Team Disk". Instead of starting the game with a single (level 1?) hero, this disk allowed the player to begin the game with a full 5-hero party of a higher level (16?).

Is this the first record of a "Pay2Win", or can anyone thing of something that may have come earlier?

Thanks,
Pedro

When in the old times men on a date used to pay dinner to women, that was pay to win that predates the invention of computers.

My 2 cents, Chris
