San Diego Coastkeeper Alert
Thursday, October 28, 2010
One organization protecting 100% of the coast
Please remember to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Several ballot initiatives on the November ballot will impact our environment…for better or worse. Please make your voice heard and vote green!

Yes on Prop 21 State parks represent an investment in our future, and must be funded accordingly. To see how Prop 21 can aid in San Diego Coastkeeper’s efforts to establish underwater parks, read our blog post.

No on Prop 23 AB 32, California’s historic global warming legislation, is vital to combat climate change, safeguard air and water quality and transition California to a green-collar economy. This will ensure a vibrant 21st century economy. Don’t let out-of-state oil companies undermine these protections!

No on Prop 26 Prop 26 is an attempt by oil, alcohol and tobacco industries to shift the burden of paying for their pollution onto California taxpayers. Don’t let them succeed.

Yes on Prop D San Diego is facing extensive cuts to essential services, including maintenance of our aging water and wastewater infrastructure and protection of our parks and coastal areas. Prop D is an important step in allaying these cuts and ensuring a healthy environment while also promoting critical reforms at the City.
