Hello Members:

I hope all of you had a great weekend. Today, I have good news for you. Finally in the ICC meeting our fruit sale was approved. So now will are able to do posters and let the word out.

 

1. During our Sale Fruit I am not sure if its on the same day, but on April 22nd is "Earth Day" so the school will be having somethink like "Earth Day Fair". For this day, volunteers are need it. So if you would like to volunteer this is the contact email : leslie....@yahoo.com

I believe as a club we should all volunteer and help them throughout this event on April 22nd , 2010

 

2. Festival of Nations is this Thursday April 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, so don't forget to walk by and learn from other countries.

 

3. Mark your calendars because on April 26th, the end of the year reports will start. Each clubs will report for about 5 to 10 minutes everything you have done throughout the school year, which means fall 09 and spring 10. Base on this presentations there will be vote to select the best club, advisor and Icc representative for the year. The voting will be on May 3rd. Every member of the club is allow to be there. (IS NOT MANDATORY), but like the ICC advisor said it will be hard to report something we have never done. So let's start thinking about this event that is coming in two weeks.  (Powerpoint presentations are acceptable).

 

4. Clubs Potluck is on May 10th is for everyone the time and locations is not determine yet.

Erika,   Thank you for the report on what is coming up this month! I appreciate your hard work and dedication! Great job!   Oh by the way club, I just wanted to:  remind you about the Earth Day Weekend event at:                      Balboa Park.   I suggest going early so that you can have a good chance to really explore and learn about everything!   There will be a lot of information and booths to visit and learn about all of the changes and issues that we are facing environmentally.   Do yourself a favor bring water, and a back pack so that you have something to carry your gathered info. in.   I know some will be taking the trolley/bus and others will be driving.   See you at the meeting!   Take Care, Lisa R.
