Inquiry on Conference Name Change for UIC 2024 Paper (Citation as SWC 2024)

Dear Conference Organizing Committee,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to seek clarification regarding the publication information of my paper titled “TRL-SN: Trajectory Representation Learning with Spatial Networks for Travel Mode Identification,” which was accepted by the 21st IEEE International Conference on Ubiquitous Intelligence and Computing (UIC 2024).

The submission, review process, and acceptance notification were all conducted under UIC 2024. However, after publication, I noticed that the conference name and citation information in IEEE Xplore are listed as IEEE Smart World Congress (SWC) 2024.

I understand that UIC may be organized as part of the Smart World Congress. However, this change in the conference name has caused some confusion, especially for academic evaluation purposes. According to official references, UIC is recognized as a CCF C-class conference, while SWC does not appear in the CCF list. This difference may directly affect whether my publication satisfies graduation requirements.

Therefore, I would like to kindly ask for clarification on why the published conference name appears as SWC instead of UIC, and whether there is any official explanation or documentation regarding this naming and publication structure.

I would greatly appreciate your guidance on this matter.
