I had edit a parameter in my *.res file, which is the RES_PVOL value.

If I do not click Re-write swat input file function through the SWAT Editor, my manual *.res modification will not be updated.

However, in case I click the Re-write swat input file function, the value in the Edit reservoir parameter window will be read by the SWAT.

I am asking this because I can not change the RES_PVOL value outside the range of >= 10 and <=100 in the Edit reservoir parameter window.
That was why I am trying to change the RES_PVOL value manually in the *.res file.

Does anybody eager to help by giving some comment, please?

Thank you

You can change the default ranges for various parameters by modifying the "rng" tables in one of the databases (I think it's in the parameter database, swat2012.mdb).  Look for a "resrng" table to alter the default ranges for reservoir parameters.
