Error Running ArcSWAT in ArcGIS Pro – Exception 0xe0434352

Dear SWAT Team,

I recently downloaded a version of ArcSWAT (ArcSWAT3, available on GitHub at https://github.com/swat-model/ArcSWAT3/releases) that is built against ArcGIS Pro version 3.4.2. My ArcGIS Pro version is 3.1.0. However, after adding ARCSWAT3 as an add-in, when I try to open the tool, I receive the following error:

“Application Error—The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434352) occurred…”

I’ve installed .NET Framework 3.5. I’m using Windows 11 with ArcGIS Pro 3.1.0. Is this version officially supported? If not, are there any recommendations for using ARCSWAT with ArcGIS Pro 3.1.0?

Hi Chris,

Thanks a lot for taking the time to look into this and for offering to help—I appreciate it.

At this stage, I’ve decided to switch back to using ArcMap, as it’s more straightforward for my current needs. So I won’t be pursuing the ArcGIS Pro setup further.
