SWAT run NOT successfully completed

Hi All,

I have been receiving this message at the last stage and have tried a
couple of suggestions already on the usergroup message board without
success.

Often two messges follow each other:

1. "SWAT run NOT successfully completed" appears first.

And if I click OK and try to run again a second message appears;

2. "Error calling unlink for file
C:\avswatx\new5\scenarios\default\txtinout\output.sub
Returned error code 13"

Any ideas as to how to resolve this problem would be highly
appreciated.

looks like you have output.sub opened by another program...close all those
program that may have opened this file...
else save the project and close all the programs and then start the project
and try running the model again.

Hi

There is a lot of causes to get this problem. Try to execute SWAT in
DOS, this way, it is easier identify what and where the real problem
is...Once you do it, just post here where the problem is and we will
help you to fix it.

I've been struggling with the same error as well....and when I run it
thorough dos it works. this makes it hard to pinpoint issue. Any
ideas?

I found where the mistake is!

I notice that the problem is in PET equation. If I was using Penman-
Monteith (radiation, wind, temperature, humidity) equation the model
didn't wont to run. It always stopped at the year 1998. But when I was
using Priestley-Taylor (only radiation) equation everything was ok. So
the problem is in missing data in weather file. I check the year 1998
in every file and found cell with missing data in wind file. Normally
the model should notice me, if data is missing, but it didn't.

So be careful and check weather data.
