Dear all SWAT-user/ specialist

I am trying to use hourly rainfall data in ArcSWAT 2012 in order to be able to simulate hourly flow but when I run the model all discharges are zero. the model results are reasonable when daily meteorological data is employed.

precipitation station file is as below:

ID,NAME,LAT,LONG,ELEVATION
1,p160549,30.5372,-91.1469,19.5

and the precipitation data file is:

Dear Maryam,

Have you figured it out? I have also encountered problems about hourly input files. Could you tell me what time step is your other weather input data?

Kun

Hi Mr Liem,

I am applying SWAT model  for predicting hourly Streamflow into reservoir respond to regulate flood events but it seem to be impossible with hourly output.

I dont know how to get hourly output from reservoir ( not outflow from reach as usual)

My thesis research was successful in simulating hourly output for flood flow but I am not sure about the case reservoir .

Could you please help me?

Your help would be appreciated.

Thank you so much

Dear Liem,

first of all, thank you for the very useful video! With this tutorial, it was possible to record my 5-min precipitation data in pcp1.pcp. After I changed IPRINT and IEVENT, even the model run was successful. But unfortunately, I also recognized, that my recharge in output.rch is still on a daily basis! In addition, the water balance in output.std, don’t make any sense!

Do you have any idea, why my model output is still on a daily time step?

Thank you for your advice

Phillip

Hello, I am trying to run the SWAT with hourly precipitation forcing data, and the model can run well.
However, when I check the output.rch, the modeled streamflow (cms) is too low, while the output.sub shows a reasonable water yield.
I am using swat-rev670-linux for my work.
I attached key files associated with hourly simulations (fig.fig, basins.bsn, and file.cio) here. please let me know what I am doing wrong here.

Also, I wonder how to get the hourly water quality outputs. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out here.
