How to compile swat source code on a windows system

Hello everyone,

I am Ola. I am trying to make modifications to SWAT source code for my research and I would need to compile these codes so I can view on my windows pc. I used Microsoft Visual Studio to do this but I got an error when I try to build and the video tutorial I was following is from 6 years ago so there are differences in the versions we are using.

Can someone please direct me to a recent tutorial as regards this or maybe even give me a step by step guide on how to do this. I can use any tool that is recommended as long as it can work on a windows system. Thank you!

I have attached a document that includes instructions for setting up an Intel project for the SWAT model. 

If you have compile errors, please send me a snapshot of the problem.  Let me know if you have any questions
