Hey folks,

I’m trying to setup my SWAT model with a 5-min rainfall interval, but while pcp1.pcp is correctly written, the output.std file isn’t recording any rainfall. Even hourly rainfall data is not recorded. Daily data works well. I’m using QSWAT 1.4 with the SWAT Editor Version 2012.10_2.19.

Do you have any ideas why it doesn’t recognize my 5-min data? Is it the SWAT Editor version or may be the SWAT code? I recently read the paper of Jeong et al., 2010, where he discribes the sub-hourly SWAT modification (Development and Integration of Sub-hourly Rainfall–Runoff Modeling Capability Within a Watershed Model) I have put some example data in the appendix.

Appendix:
pcp_loc.txt -> Rainfall location file at Source/Climate/PCP
Kaf.txt -> One example rainfall station in 5-min time interval

Thank you for your support
Phillip
