hi

I am working on AVSWAT 2000. i have created a DEM of the basin. then
the DEM has been added to AVSWAT. when the landuse data is to be added
an error message comes as "the selected shape theme do not overlay the
watershed zone". the DEM was created in arcinfo GRID format with
geographic co-ordinates as same as the landuse and soil maps.

so, what could be the reason? please help!!!

Check to make sure your spatial data sets are all in the same map projection -- just using the same datum (GCS84, for example) isn't enough.  And just because the images may appear to overlay in ArcView also isn't enough, because (I think) ArcView will display a data set in the same projection as other the other features in your data frame, even when a data set has no projection specified.
