Estimate SW-INITmm up to Rootzone depth ?

Dear all,

In the SWAT model outputs, the variable SW_INITmm from output.hru represents the amount of water in the soil profile at the beginning of the day. I’m currently working with the FAO soil map, which defines my soil profile in two layers: 30 cm (Layer 1) and 70 cm (Layer 2).

For my study, I need to estimate SW_INITmm specifically for the root zone depth, which varies across different HRUs. Could anyone suggest an effective way to calculate or adjust SW_INITmm to accurately represent soil water content within the defined root zone depth for each HRU?

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
