I am working on calibrating corn and soybean yields for my watershed, but I seem to be running into some challenges, particularly with soybeans. The calibration results are unsatisfactory, and in some subbasins the model produces no soybean yields, even though observed (area-weighted, county-to-subbasin) data indicate otherwise.
For context, I developed a management operation schedule for a single HRU of corn and applied it across all HRUs with corn, as my watershed has more than 800 HUC8 subbasins, and calibrating each individually would be impractical. I followed the same approach for soybeans; however, the results have been inconsistent, with some subbasins showing no simulated yields.
I would appreciate any guidance or assistance on this.
Thanks,
Benjamin
