Hi,

I am working on " impact in the sediment and nutrient output by implementing various BMPs using the SWAT model". Requesting suggestion to solve the following problems;

In the Management(.mgt) file, I tried to use schedule by date (schedules are as shown below), but while rewriting SWAT input file, software shows "“ Argument ‘Expression’ is not a valid value.:MGT file print error on Subbasin:3,HRU:1" error.

Same things I tried to use schedule by heat unit, but sediment output after implementing this schedule does not change from the base value.

Year   OP_NUM    Operation                           Crop         Heat units

1              1          Tillage operation                                      0.15

1              2          Fertilizer application                                 0.15

1              3          Pestiside application                                0.15

1              4          Plant/begin growing             SOYB           0.15

1              5          Harvest and kill operation                         0.15

I appreciate your help

The problem might be that you have the Heat Units (HUSC) for all operations 0.15. This is telling SWAT to do all of those operations on the same day. I'm guessing this is not what you mean to do. Could you upload any of your .mgt files for the schedule by date errors?

You have already figured this out. However the reason can be leaving some fields blank. I also I tried this way to "force" SWAT to print Month/Day instead of HUSC. But it is  not printing that anyway. Have you find the way ?

Hi, this error is super easy to solve - make sure you have checked the box "Extend Management Operations" instead of checking the box "Extend ALL MGT General Parameters".

By doing this, when you select the tables you want to rewrite it will work.
