Error compiling SWAT v681 using Intel Fortran 2021.1.1

Hello everyone,

I am trying to compile the source code of SWAT v681 using Intel Fortran 2021.1.1 but I always get errors related to modparm.f:

error #6418: This name has already been assigned a data type.   [WOF_]

error #6418: This name has already been assigned a data type.   [LYRTILE]

error #6417: The dimensions of this array have been defined more than once.   [CH_S]

error #6417: The dimensions of this array have been defined more than once.   [POT_VOLX]

error #6417: The dimensions of this array have been defined more than once.   [CN]

error #7002: Error in opening the compiled module file.  Check INCLUDE paths.   [PARM]

Does anyone else face the same issues and know how to fix them? I compiled SWAT v664 as a test without a problem so I think there is really something wrong with the last version.

Juan:  All of these variables listed below are due to a setting in your project.  Extend your fortran language settings to 132 columns as seen below and hopefully that will take care of the problems you are having.  Let me know if it does not.

Dear Nancy,

I'm trying to modify the SWAT source code such I can export the soil moisture of the first cm in swr output file to a variable in sub output file and run it. Do you know please after modification the different steps to follow to run the swat model?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to compile the source code of SWAT v692 using Intel Fortran  but I am getting these errors even after modifying the language settings.

Arshad:

• Did you make any changes in this code (e.g. renaming or modifying perhaps the modparm.f file?)
• Was console application chosen when setting up the project?

I have attached a word document as an example of setting an Intel project for compiling.

Keep me posted on any progress.
