Hello,

Does anyone have access to older swatcup installation files? I updated my software yesterday and the update caused my parallel processing license to not work. I contacted swatcup's parent company and they said that they won't provide the installation files for older software and that I have to buy a new license. Can anyone provide older versions of the software?

Thanks,
Grey

Grey,

I have SWAT-CUP 2012 version 5.1.6.2, installed May 2015, but unfortunately not the original installation files. I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise.

I was able to obtain the installation exe for swatcup 2012 from another user. Appreciate your time.

Dear Grey Evenson,
Just to let you know that as SWAT-CUP is now obtained by a different company who will maintain it, obtaining old copies from other users can be considered illegal.

Wetechdata --
On the SWAT webpage for downloading SWAT-CUP, it states "SWAT‐CUP is a public domain program, and as such may be used and copied freely."
So can you clarify your comment about the legality of sharing copies?
Is SWAT-CUP no longer free?
Or is it only the parallel processing capability that is not free, and requires licensing?

SWAT-CUP has always and will always be public domain and free of charge.

Thank you Jim for commenting.
