Hey all,

This question is about the action under Write Input Tables-> Weather Stations -> Weather Generator Data

I have these file downloaded from < http://globalweather.tamu.edu/ > to use as input for the weather stations.
After inserting them into solar, rainfall, temp, wind, rel. humidity I can only proceed if I select an option in the "Weather Generator Data" - Select Monthly Weather Database. I thought this was not necessary.
When looking it up I see that I could insert the monthly averages for all variables for all 42 measuring stations into WGEN_USER in the AccessDatabase.

Does anyone know if this is necessary? And if so, how could I best get this into WGEN_USER? I tried using RStudio, but my experience is so little that it is becoming very time-consuming.
I have added a few text files that are input to the Weather Generator Data as an example.
I also added the csv files that I could use to calculate the required input to the AccessDatabase WGEN_USER tab.
_README.txt
p-5341.txt
p-5344.txt
pcp.txt
weatherdata--5341.csv
weatherdata--5344.csv

Hi Timo,

The WGEN information is used only in case your weather database has some missing values. It will then calculate, based on the information provided by the WGEN_USER, the required information for the missing days.
If you want to generate this data or manage the weather data inputs for the ArcSWAT interface, have a look at the Swat Weather Database tool:
http://swat.tamu.edu/media/115170/swat-weatherdatabase.7z

With that, you will be able to calculate the desired statistics.
Cheers,
Arthur
