Hello all,

Does anyone know of a program or a way to calculate potential heat
units outside of SWAT? The auxiliary program on the SWAT website
works, but is missing a lot of other crops. For example, I would like
to calculated the PHUs for tomatoes in a certain part of California.
Does anyone know a way of doing this?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for answer. From what I've seen, the crops in that program are
limited. I would like to calculated PHUs for tomatoes, but the program
does not have that option.

You can add any crops in phucrp.dat file. This will get what you need. If you have still problem, I can help.

Dear Dr. Srinivasan

I am trying to get heat units for tall fescue in Ohio. It seems that PHU program on SWAT website works on 32bit machines only. Is there anyway for me to get a program that would work on PC with a 64 bit OS too? Thank you!

Best
Hui
