transport of trace metals

Hi All,

I am trying to develop a SWAT+ model to simulate transport of trace metals (Cadmium, Arsenic, Lead) through a watershed. These trace metals come from fertilizers and pesticides. I am wondering how to setup SWAT+ for this application.

Hello,

You will need to use the constituents module. Start by developing a basic model (baseline), and include all your management practices. 

Simulate for the baseline, calibrate the water balance components,  crop yields, assure fertilization rates are accurate.

Once the model is setup, you can add the constituents to the model in the appropriate (.cs) files or in the editor.
