Extremely deep state head

Hi all,

I am simulating groundwater storage in shallow aquifers using gwflow  in  sandy ephemeral rivers that are typically about  1.5 - 5 metres deep. I am getting extremely deep heads of over 100m depth. Could it be an issue linked to the aquifer thickness? My average aquifer thickness from BDTICM is about 100 metres. 

If that's the issue, how do I adjust the thickness to match the field thresholds?

Attached is the txt file for gwflow state head from my observation point.
