Where to edit ponds (RES=2) in SWAT+ Editor? + Decision Tables missing

Hello everyone, I added a ponds shapefile in QSWAT+ → Add Lakes. Log says: Number of lakes: 36 — 36 ponds (RES=2), 0 reservoirs. The project opens in SWAT+ Editor, but:

1. I don’t see a separate Ponds panel. Should ponds (RES=2) be edited under Connections → Reservoirs (same tables as RES=1), or is there a ponds panel I’m missing?

2. Under Decision Tables I only see Land Use Management. Other decision tables (e.g., Channels, HRUs, Reservoirs, etc.) are not listed. Is that expected for pond-only projects, or is something not loading?

• Project loads and runs; ponds appear in the summary (36 ponds)

• In Editor: Connections → Reservoirs exists, but no explicit Ponds item

• Decision Tables shows only Land Use Management

Any guidance on:

• Where to adjust RES=2 pond parameters,

• And why the other Decision Tables aren’t showing?

Hello,

The ponds are treated as reservoirs, so you should see them in the  Connections → Reservoirs.

To manage pond release, you should look at Decision Tables  →   Reservoir Release.

There is no  RES=2 for pond parameters in SWAT+. You need to assign a release DT to every pond: Connections → Reservoirs → (select your pond) → click Edit/View → Release Decision Table (select one or create your own)
