Can anyone confirm what the units for the "dist" parameter in tiledrain.str should be? SWAT+ editor says meters with a range of 5-100 (which would be an impractical range if mm), but all of the other tile parameters are in mm. SWAT+ Toolbox's min and max value ranges for the parameter appears to be in mm (7,000 - 30,000) but if I use values within that range SWAT+ Toolbox tells me that they are out of range. The SWAT+ source code (61.0.1 - 61.0.2.11) seems to expect the input as mm, because there does not appear to be any unit conversion applied to the hru(j)%sdr%dist variable, while all of the other tile related variables are in mm. I have a copy of one of the NAM models and the "dist" parameter in tiledrain.str was 30, which implies meters. Any guidance is much appreciated.

Glenn:

I see the confusion and I will clarify with Dr. Arnold to confirm these units.  I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Nancy
