Dear all,

after switching from 60.5.4 to 60.5.7, I am getting very strange low flows without any retention in the downstream part of my reservoir. Several upstream catchments look just fine.

This occurs before and after calibration:

Has anyone ever experienced this problem and can help?

Thank you in advance and best regards
Sven

Hello Sven,
I am also facing a similar problem. My model does not correctly simulate the Lateral, Return, and Tile flow. I tried everything to fix this but failed to do so. I can see that your flows are also similar to mine, with sudden spikes of surface runoff and less baseflow contribution. Please let me know if you have solved this problem.

Thanking you,
Revanth M.

Try using this decision table for your reservoir(s) with the attached executable

        DTBL_NAME      CONDS       ALTS       ACTS
      generalTable          1          1          3
 COND_VAR   OBJ   OBJ_NUMB LIM_VAR LIM_OP LIM_CONST  ALT1
      vol   res          0    pvol      *       0.3     >
 ACT_TYP   OBJ OBJ_NUM      ACT_NAME ACT_OPTION CONST CONST2 FILE_POINTER  OUT1
 release   res       0 over_deadpool   rate_pct 0.001      0         null     y
 release   res       0 over_deadpool inflo_frac   0.8      0         null     y
 release   res       0 over_deadpool       days    90      0         pvol     y

In addition you can try changing corresponding for 'SHP_CO1', 'SHP_CO2' in hydrology.res (the last two columns) varying them between 0 and 1 (or more) until you are happy.

With Kind Regards,
