TauDEM and Delineating Watershed

When dealing with TauDEM delineation at the setting up of the swat model, any suggestions to avoid the (not responding) or crash in case of a big DEM?

QSWAT(+) may be marked as not responding when TauDEM is still running.
I have used GRASS to delineate very large DEMs, and then used them as
existing watersheds. I will write up how to do this.
