what is the exact definition of tile flow?

I'd like to figure out what is the exact definition of the tile flow. What is the difference between tile flow and lateral flow?

Hello,

Tile flow is... well.. tile flow. The water that moves from the tile system that is installed in fields.

And lateral flow is.. lateral flow :) The water that moves parallel to the slope of the land.

Maybe the difference is that the lateral flow occurs naturally, while tile flow occurs only when tiles are installed (anthropogenic activity).
