How to input Potential ET filename ?

Hi all,

I would like to calculate PET by "Read in potential ET value", and tried to input Potential ET file by writing "codes.bsn" and "PET.pet" like this.

But it doesn't work.

Please teach me the way to input Potential ET file and make it work.

Hello,

What do you mean: "It doesn't work?"  Please be more specific: 

- do you get a run error? 

- do you see the results that you are not expecting? 

- what other issues you are facing?

Now it's like saying: I'm trying to ride my bike, but it doesn't work, please tech me the way to do it.. :)

Thank you for your replay.

This is my error.

When I select "Penman/Monteith Method" in Potential ET method, SWAT model can work without error.

However, when I select "Read in potential ET values", an error has occurred during the simulation.

I guess the cause of error is Potential ET file or codes.bsn , so I want to know the way to write these files when I select "Read in potential ET values".

Moritaka:  I have included a snap below of the SWAT+ Editor where this filename is located.  If all is working well, when Potential ET method code (pet) input is equal to ‘3’, you should be able to enter the filename in the ‘Potential ET filename (pet_file) column. 

Let me know if this is not the case.

Hi all,

I am encountering the same error code (copied below) when trying to read a PET file into SWAT+. I have entered the Potential ET filename in the Basin Codes section of SWAT+ Editor with the Potential ET method code set to 3, and I have tried all of the recommended PET file formats that I have come across for the PET file (starting with format in the I/O Documentation as well as on the different SWAT google group discussions). I have attached the PET file below. Any advice on how to resolve this error would be greatly appreciated.
