Hi there,

I'm getting the attached error that  channel_sdmorph_day.txt does not exist, however when I search for it in the TxtInOut folder it seems to be there.

I am also getting an error saying that observations and simulations are not overlapping, could this be a wrong input date (see attached screengrab)?

Many thanks and best wishes,
Camilla

Hello,

Are you sure you are not confusing  channel_sdmorph_day.txt and  channel_sd_day.txt?
It is very uncommon to use the morphology file for calibration, unless you have a specific reason and observation for a isolated channel segment. The flows (accumulated through the channel network) is printed in the  channel_sd_day.txt

 Hello,

I am currently working on flow calibration in SWAT+ CUP and I am a bit confused about which output variable should be used for channel flow.

In the SWAT+ CUP calibration example shown in Karim Abbaspour’s video, the variable channel_sd_morph_day is used for calibration. However, when I checked the SWAT+ GitBook documentation and related GitHub discussions, I found that flo_out_mm is described as channel outflow for the morphology output, while in channel_sd_day the variable flo_out is reported in units of .

Because of this difference, I am unsure which variable is appropriate for discharge calibration against observed streamflow data. If I follow the Abbaspour video, it seems that the Channel Morphology output should be used.

Could you please confirm whether channel_sd_morph_day is the correct output for flow calibration in SWAT+ CUP, or if I should instead use the flo_out variable from channel_sd_day?

Thank you very much for your time and guidance.

Best regards,
Mahabub
