SWAT+ Redevelopment

Hi all,

I am new to working in Visual Studio. I have installed the latest Visual Studio 2022 and Intel Fortran Compiler for Windows.

After I cloned the swatplus project into my machine and ran with ifx debug version, I keep receiving these two errors,

CMake Error at C:/Program Files/Microsoft Visual Studio/2022/Community/Common7/IDE/CommonExtensions/Microsoft/CMake/CMake/share/cmake-3.29/Modules/CMakeDetermineCompilerABI.cmake:67 (try_compile): ...

2.

CMake Error: Error required internal CMake variable not set, cmake may not be built correctly. ...

Can anyone kindly help me explain these errors? I will really appreciate it. Many thank.

I decided to answered my own question here, hoping it could be helpful for anyone who might encountered similar errors.

As the redevelopment required Intel Fortran Compiler, the Visual Studio should be opened via "Intel oneAPI command prompt for Intel 64 for Visual Studio 2022". Open the Visual Studio directly to do the redevelopment resulted in the errors that I cited above.
