Coupling SWAT+ with other models

Hi,

I am trying to couple SWAT+ with an agent-based model. I am using a gridded SWAT+ model for a large area (c. 600,000 km^2). The ABM provides land use and management practices for each year, which is passed onto SWAT+ model, which defines the yield in each grid cell and water use from various sources. The ABM uses an annual time step, whilst SWAT+ is run on a daily timestep. I have code to edit the relevant files in the SWAT+ TxtInOut folder (hru-data file for land use change and time for the period to be for a single year) and run the executable. My concern is the warm-up period. Is this required every time the model runs? Is there a way of running the model for the whole period, but having it pause each year, integrate new landuse and continue running for another year?
