SWAT+ Issue:

1. Primary Issue Location

  • Component: SWAT+ Editor
  • Area of impact: model output

2. Software Versions

  • GIS Interface: * SWAT+ Editor: 3.2.1 * SWAT+ Revision:61.0.2

3. Project Characteristics

  • Watershed Details: 2000sqkm, LSU included, 5/5/5 HRU threshold and located at Shasta Valley California (-122.967329W,41.885344N; -122.961836,41.334994; -121.911269,41.341181; -121.876936,41.884322) (Size, discretization settings/HRU thresholds, and location)
  • Modeling Aim: Water balance, ET, and crop growth; in general, it is aimed to conserve water looking at different scenarios of irrigation water management

4. Description of Issue

  • The Problem:  The SWAT+ Editor halts at the “Run SWAT+” step. When I attempted to run it using the executable file, the process stopped after reading the weather data. It then prompts me to run SWAT+ Check, but an error appears stating: “Could not load SWAT+ Check because the table ‘basin_wb_aa’ does not exist in your output database. Re-run your model and check all yearly and annual average files under the print option.” However, I had already enabled these print options in the initial setup.
  • Step to Reproduce:  When the error occurred, I searched for solutions online and tried several fixes, including adjusting the date settings, checking the weather data file format, running the executable file from the TextInOut folder, and changing the SWAT project directory to C:\SWAT.

5. Supporting Data (Optional)
