 Hi
I have successfully set up a handful of catchments in SWAT+ and managed to the run the SWAT model In  SWAT+ Toolbox, I have tried to run a number of the catchments in SWAT+ editor and I get the same error message when I run the debug version  (below).

I have managed to get a couple of the catchments to run in editor however I am trying to implement land use change scenarios in my catchments therefore I have been trying to run the model in a copied TxtInOut folder using the executable 'rev59_3_64debug'.
However this gives me exactly the same error message (even the catchments which did run in editor).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers,

Alex

Hello,
Could you elaborate:
- what version of swat+ does the Toolbox run?
- did you make any changes to the models before running them in a standalone executable?
It seems like a very basic issue with climate inputs (humidity?).
Best,
Natalja

I think you're right that this is a problem with humidity inputs, Natalja.

I had this exact same error running SWAT+ rev 59.3 from the SWAT+ Editor.  In my case I was importing SWAT2012-style observed weather files 'pcp.txt', 'tmp.txt ' and 'wind.txt ', but not 'solar.txt' or 'hmd.txt'. I was able to fix the problem by importing empty humidity files - ie create 'hmd.txt' and matching station files, but fill them with no-data values (-99), and put them in the same folder as the observed data files. Simulations ran without error after that, with SWAT+ using the weather generators to fill in the missing humidity values.

For whatever reason this wasn't happening properly when there was no 'hmd.txt' imported. It seems that this is not a problem for 'solar.txt', only 'hmd.txt'. I wonder if there's a ''use_simulation' flag somewhere that's not getting set properly by SWAT+ Editor when users import some, but not all weather variables?

Hope this helps,
Dean
