Water Balance

Dear Community,

I have a model running for 10 years with a previous 7 years of warm-up (a total of 17 years) that is already calibrated. However, when I do a basic water balance check (Precipitation = water yield + et + perc), I am missing 10% of rainfall.  

In other words, I have a 10% surplus of water leaving the basin compared to precipitation arriving at it.

I know there is also a volume in soil storage, but when I check "sw_change", it is basically 0, so it does not add much to the equation.

I would like to understand how it is possible or if I am not considering some important variable.

I observed that adjusting the "perco" parameter in the hydrology.hyd file from the default value of 0.9 to 1 appears to improve the water balance.

Which option did you use? If you use the LSU (Landscape unit) option, you have to add surq_Runon and latq_runon by the side of Pcp.

Pcp+surq_runon+latq_run = WY+ET+ Perc

All the WB components are found in Basin _WB in Textinout Folder.
